PS Retail has worked with Ryobi for several years and has had the opportunity to be a part of their journey to strengthen their position in the market. Today, we assist with complete store interior design concepts on the Scandinavian market in stores such as Bauhaus, K-Rauta and Granngården in Sweden, Motonet in Finland, Montér in Norway, etc.

 

Store Concept with both display and storage

For Ryobi, which is part of the international group Techtronic Industries (TTI), we have created a store concept that meets their need to display many different products in the store, while also having storage space adjacent to these products so that the customer can easily find products to purchase. The challenge in this type of project is to accommodate many products and features in a small area without compromising branding and communication.

Design Process for a great impact

The brand is competing for the customer's attention as many competitors are directly next to it, which makes it especially important to make a great impact in the physical store. The design process was based on this challenge and the "house" with similes of a classic tool shed was given Ryobi's clear brand color. Material choices as perforated metal are a reference to traditional, robust interior design. The sloping shelves create order and maximize product exposure, and together with the self-feeding shelves with packaging, it becomes easy for the customer to find the right product as well as for the store to give a tidy impression.
