MECA

The MECA Group is a leading player in the aftermarket for car spare parts, tools and workshop equipment. Their business rests on the efficient distribution of spare parts and tools via express warehouses to professional car workshops under the motto – ”simpler and more cost-effective car ownership with the highest quality and service”. MECA is Sweden's and Norway's fastest growing workshop concept with approx. 400 connected workshops in Sweden alone.

Sign program to strengthen the brand

For the customer, PS Retail created a sign program based on a new graphic profile for clearer recognition and to strengthen MECA's brand. A challenge that was taken into account was how the MECA brand and the local workshop name would relate to each other in a consistent way. Traditionally, the local name is very strong and it was important that none of the names and any logos compete with each other, but instead strengthened one another.

A long-term partner

PS Retail support the customer with both interior design concepts and sign programs on an ongoing basis, including by being a support in the process around building permits.

Interior design concept

The focus of the assignment was on the exterior signage program, but also included an interior design concept where the personal service and a platform for reception were important functions to highlight and emphasize.

The concept is based on a package that the workshops can put together to suit their shop and premises.
